Key players return to boost Bosso

Bulawayo giants Highlanders have received a boost ahead of their trip to the Midlands to play Chapungu in a 2014 Castle Premiership opener on Saturday with the recovery of their key players from injury and sickness.
Warriors linkmen Peter Rio Moyo and Milton Moyo have recovered from the ankle injuries that kept them out of the Independence Trophy semi-final defeat to FC Platinum last Sunday while defender Eric Mudzingwa, who was also absent during the cup defeat due to illness, is back at training.
Bosso will also welcome back their head coach Kelvin Kaindu, who has been away in the United Kingdom attending a Uefa B coaching course.
Kaindu is expected back in the country today.
Mark Mathe, who was holding the fort in the Zambian's absence, called upon Bosso fans to be patient as the team tries to find its rhythm.
"The trick for us is to grind out positive results as we work on cohesion and once we achieve that we will begin to play to our full potential," Mathe said earlier this week.
Highlanders have experienced a disappointing pre-season after failing to achieve success in the three cup competitions they have taken part in so far this year.
Prior to last Sunday's defeat to Platinum in the Independence Trophy, Bosso were booted out of the Cephas Msipa Charity tournament by Chapungu after going down 2-1 on penalties and also lost 2-0 to Dynamos in the final of the Bob90 Super Cup.
But Bosso did register some victories as well during the pre-season period with their first win coming over Harare City in the semi-final stage of the Bob 90 Super Cup and a 1-0 friendly victory over FC Platinum.
Premiership returnees Chapungu watched Highlanders going down to FC Platinum at Barbourfields last Sunday in what the media has been described as a spying mission, but basing their game plan on that game would be folly for the airmen.
Just like in the Cephas Msipa Charity tie, Highlanders experimented a lot against Platinum as they tried new combinations especially in central midfield where Hillary Madzivanyika partnered Welcome Ndiweni.
This combination did not bear fruit for Bosso who have the option of deploying utility player Simon Munawa in that role since regular right-back Mudzingwa has fully recovered from sickness.
Another option would be play former Chicken Inn captain Felex Chindungwe as the holding midfielder, just like he did in the dying minutes of last Sunday's cup tie.
Highlanders' blunt strike force must be a cause for concern for the team's technical department, but the way they created chances after the introduction of former ZPC Hwange forward Cleopas Dube should be an indication that the player deserves a chance to lead their attack.
Dube's aerial prowess gives the team another dimension in attack and this could come in handy against the very physical airmen.
