Warriors' new coach Ian Gorowa says he intends to build from where Klaus Pagels left off but says he will not continue with the tik-taka style of football.
Gorowa, his assistant Callisto Pasuwa and returnee Richard Tswatswa began their tenure with the senior national team on Wednesday preparing for Zimbabwe's CHAN qualifier against Mauritius.
Upon completion of his first training session, 'Dibango' as Gorowa is affectionately known, entertained the media advising them that every coach has his own philosophy of play and for that reason football supporters should not expect him to adopt Klaus Pagels' style.
On the task ahead, Gorowa hinted he will use the experience from his assistants to prepare for the Mauritius game.
Only four changes have been made in the Warriors' squad that played the COSAFA cup.
Ronald Chitiyo and Tendai Ndoro will be absent and Dynamos Partson Jaure and Highlanders Milton Ncube have been called in.
FC Platinum Nelson Mazivisa and Caps United Tawanda Nyamandwe have also been roped in to beef up the strike force.
The team is expected to leave on Thursday for the match set for Sunday.
