Chicken Inn 1-1 Platinum
For the second week in a row Chicken Inn were left to complain of poor officiating. After coming from behind, having conceded a controversial penalty against Bosso last week, in which they also had a goal disallowed, Chicken Inn got the all important equaliser through Danny phiri, to snatch an important draw.

Yesterday they conceded another questionable goal, when it appeared goalkeeper Njabulo Nyoni was pushed before former Kiglon Striker William Munondo who had come in as a sub scored his first goal in Platinum colours, his 3rd of the season, having scored two goals in the first half of the season at Kiglon.

Herbert Dick, thought he had got an equaliser for Chicken Inn, but was ruled to have pushed goalkeeper Tafadzwa Dube, in what looked very similar to the Munondo goal. It is very unfortunate as in this league of ours we cannot have television replays, otherwise it would have made interesting viewing the scenes for a second time. There was no denying the veteran defender his second goal of the season, with a long range effort, to give Chicken Inn the crucial point. They also held Platinum to a 1-1 draw in the first game in Zvishavane.

Chicken Inn are now unbeaten in their last five games, with 2 wins and 3 draws and have lost just once at Luveve Stadium to Bosso 2-1. Platinum are losing ground in terms of the title, having failed to win since their first visit to Bulawayo. It was 0-0 against Zimbabe Saints, lost 1-0 to Bosso, drew with Motor Actiontion 0-0 and the draw yesterday was the first time they had found the net in four games. With news that they had been promised $1000 a win for the past four games, it means they lost out on a cool $4000.

Shooting Stars 3-0 Masvingo
It is said that a draw does not carry any bonus at Platinum. Could it be a question of too much money, creating too much pressure for the Platinum boys?

Saul Chaminuka suffered his first defeat since he took charge of Masvingo from Luke Masomere, in the other 3 games he had won once and drew two. On the other hand Shooting stars have not lost in their last two games, having drawn 2-2 with Monomutapa in their last game. They now move to 21 points on the log after getting the valuable points as they fight to stay in the top flight league. Francis Kanda, ex Bosso, scored his 2nd goal in row, having scored in the 2-2 draw with Monomutapa.
