Zim unveils SADC AfDB Presidential candidate

The Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Patrick Chinamasa, will today in the evening introduce Thomas Zondo Sakala as the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Candidate for the African Development Bank (AfDB) elections for the presidency, to Diplomats based in Zimbabwe.
The government announced the developments today and indicated that the introduction event will be held in Harare where Zondo Sakala will be made to meet with diplomats.
A notice of the meeting event reads, "Zondo Sakala, a Zimbabwean, will meet African diplomats accredited to Harare at 1730hrs. He will meet the Non-African Group, who are shareholders in the AfDB, at 1830hrs."
The meetings will take place at the Ministry of Finance (New Government Complex) Boardroom where the media is also invited.
