Anti‑sanctions boss arrested

Embattled Citizens Against Economic Sanctions (CAES) executive director Martin Zharare has been arrested.

Bulawayo24.com is reliably informed that Zharare was arrested in Mount Darwin on Tuesday.

Zharare is expected to appear in court any day from tomorrow after he allegedly duped a desperate villager of US$1,800 in a borehole‑drilling scheme.

Police could not quickly confirm the arrest at the time of writing.
