A Bulawayo Based Company will be hosting a first of its kind Food Tasting Expo for people intending to get married and corporate companies in April as part of efforts to expose the public to various caterers in the city.

KoMalaba Food Court which is the main company holding the event will be working in partnership with The Homestead to host the expo.

Although there have been events such as wine and cake expos, this is the first ever food expo provided for by the best caterers in Bulawayo.

In an Interview with Radio Dialogue , KoMalaba Food Court marketing manager Marshal Malaba said the main aim was to expose caterers in Bulawayo to people who were getting married and companies.

"It is indeed the first of its kind yes and the charge is $3 per head or $5 per couple. The main aim is to expose the public to the various caterers in Bulawayo," said Mr Malaba.

Some of the companies that will be involved include Homestead, Catering solutions, Anointed events, Reflections, Karrens deserts, Monica events etc

"Some of the best caterers in town will prepare a special onetime tasting menu for you so that you select the ideal menu for your wedding," said Mr Malaba.

Each caterer will have a stand that people walk to and have the opportunity to taste their specials.

More than 500 people are expected to attend the event. Local entertainment will also be provided.
