Nicki Minaj's senior designer to showcase at Zim fashion week UK

Zimbabwe Fashion Week UK is ready to celebrate with a fashion extravaganza on 4th July. The event which is the first of its kind will showcase both emerging and established designers from Zimbabwe and will be held at The Crown Banqueting Hall in Birmingham.
Many of the designers exhibiting on the day have already had prestigious careers internationally. One such designer that will be showcasing on the day is Farayi Simoyi, who has previously collaborated with global music mogul Nicki Minaj on her successful clothing collection.
Farayi Simoyi was the senior designer for the clothing collection and is excited to present her own designs at Zimbabwe Fashion Week UK. Farayi will be joined by some of the most promising designers currently working in the fashion industry.
Zimbabwe Fashion Week UK is also pleased to announce that the BBC's Kevin Ncube will be the lead MC on the day. Kevin is a known fashionista in his own right and brings a wealth of fashion knowledge and event management to the event that will help ensure the event is a huge success. Kevin is extremely proud to be taking part in an event that is representing talent from Zimbabwe and will be ably supported by the fabulous Noksy Hlazo
Founder of Zimbabwe Fashion Week UK, Chiedza Dawn Ziyambe has praised everyone taking part in the event for their hard work. "The commitment, dedication and enthusiasm that is going into this event is astounding, the designers have worked incredibly hard to share their best work with the attendees."
The fashion event provides an opportunity to preview the work of designers from Zimbabwe. Attendees will get to see the breadth of creative talent, which has contributed to Zimbabwe's reputation as one of the best countries for producing fashion. African prints have become a huge trend in large international fashion houses and many of the designers ready to showcase are sure to shine in the spotlight.
Chiedza Dawn Ziyambe concludes; "This is a great time for Zimbabwe Fashion as more and more designers from Zimbabwe are close to a major breakthrough. Recently we have seen so many designers with Zimbabwe roots gaining nominations in major fashion awards across the globe.
