HARARE – Renowned Zimbabwean musician Giant Tagarisa has released three new singles that have ignited excitement among fans, showcasing his versatility and commitment to socially conscious music.
The tracks — Ndipe Rudo, Chiremba Wenhamo and Tiyambutse — carry strong messages of love, resilience and spiritual reflection.
Speaking after the release of the trending Ndipe Rudo video, Tagarisa said music must remain an agent for social, cultural and economic transformation, reflecting the lived experiences of communities.
“Music should not divert from being an agent for social, economic and cultural realities whose meaning should be expressed through audio‑visuals,” he said.
“Fusing audio‑visuals using modern digital platforms is premised on our quest to be non‑discriminatory, prioritising inclusivity for audiences of diverse backgrounds, geography and age groups.”
Tagarisa added that music must reinforce moral values and mirror societal contexts.

Chiremba Wenhamo delivers an uplifting message about overcoming poverty through hard work and determination, while Tiyambutse is a heartfelt plea for spiritual salvation and liberation.
Tagarisa’s producer, Maselo PaBeat, commended the artist’s passion and dedication to empowering emerging musicians.

With over three decades in the industry, Tagarisa has collaborated with notable musicians including Pah Chihera, Baba Troy and Andy Muridzo. His music often tackles pressing social issues such as child marriages and substance abuse.
