Lira expected in Zimbabwe today

SOUTH African musician Lira is expected in the country this afternoon for a show at 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare tonight.
Lira is expected to touch down at Harare International Airport at 12.30pm with her five-member band aboard a South African Airways flight.
Yesterday the musician expressed her excitement in touring the country in a post on her Facebook page that read: "One more sleep then we are off to rock Harare, Zimbabwe. (I am) excited."
She is set to share the stage with Alexio Kawara, Chiwoniso Maraire and Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana.
Show organiser Chris Musabayana said everything was in place for the show and Lira's fans should brace for an exciting night.
"We have now done all the groundwork and we are waiting for the artistes to do their part," Musabayana said.
Kawara said he would stand his ground to prove he can perform alongside any international act.
