CONTEMPORARY ragga music sensation, Mukudzei Mukombe popularly known as Jah Prayzah is set to unleash a new scorcher to Mutare fans at Pick and Save Superrette on Saturday.
Jah Prayzah said one of the songs is titled Makanika.
The song, Jah Prayzah, said was about a beautiful young lady who, after exerting to pressure from his foreign boyfriend, introduces him to her parents and proudly tells them that her boyfriend was a mechanic.
"She did it out of pressure not out of love. Most people believe for their love relationships to be cemented they need to be introduced to their spouses' parents.
"I was inspired by Nigerian movies to write this masterpiece and Mutare music lovers will hear the complete song for the first time," said the Gochi-Gochi hit-maker, adding that he had since found a replacement for the controversial band member, dancer and backing vocalist, Evidence Mudzingo affectionately known as Generator who left the band in unclear circumstances.
Backed by the 3rd Generation Band, Jah Prayzah has been a darling of many since venturing into music industry about five years ago particularly his energy on stage as well as the military-style dress code.
He will be supported by bass guitar maestro, Romeo Gasa and his Extra Valembe band.
Gasa who prefers to call himself Simbi Hombe is no push over and fun lovers should underrate him at their own peril.
The show starts at 8pm and Pick and Save management has urged people to come in numbers to support the youthful, but talented artistes.
