A colouring book for children called Being Gay is Okay has been released recently.
Described as a "practical examination of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender life)", the 50 page book features a certificate of Gay marriage, an encouraging coming out letter, and historical and modern fabulous Gay figures.
The £5 book also includes "Fabulous Gay Sharing Cards" which depict high profile gay figures such as Jodie Foster and Ellen Degeneres.
Wayne Bell, head of St Louis, Missouri-based publisher Really Big Coloring Books, explains: "This truthful, fact based, inspirational colouring novel is very appropriate for anyone. It opens the door to education and conversation about how Being Gay Is Okay.
"This book brings right to the hands of children, parents and educators a discussion on the fundamental rights of liberty with lessons of tolerance and inclusion. The novel focuses on the fact that if you are Gay - that is okay - and you are not alone.
"Included is a discussion on homophobia, bullies and Gay haters. All the while encouraging readers to educate themselves and others, the book offers significant occurrences in LGBT history, a look at religion and homosexuality, an observation in politics and contact information for Gay advocacy and other helpful organisations."
