Chihuri kidnaps, detains ex-tenant for 24 hours, reports

Isabel Chihuri, the wife of Police Commissioner-General Augustine allegedly kidnapped and detained her former tenant for 24 hours under police guard.
Thursday reports indicate that the tenant, Esnath Zuze was detained on Monday.
According to her lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa, Chihuri's wife ordered Zuze to thoroughly clean the house and only leave when she was satisfied
Zuze claimed she was forced to sleep at the house and only leave when she had cleaned up the place, although her relatives were allowed to bring her food and cleaning detergents.
Mtetwa said "I was engaged by ZLHR to help the woman, who had been detained on Monday morning at the alleged behest of Mrs Chihuri.
"I went to the scene and confirmed that indeed she was there under guard".
However, police spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba is quoted saying Zuze is fabricating the issue "by lying and soiling the image of the police commander".
