Drunk man accuses wife of prostitution, kills her

A Harare woman from Milton Park was allegedly murdered in illicit (Kachasu) beer brawl by her husband in the wee hours of Monday.
Sources privy to the development allege Mercy Black aka mai Green was drinking kachasu at a shebeen at number 65 Dan Judson Road with her husband identified as Black who accused her of prostitution after taking the beer.
A scuffle arose on their way back home; Black is reported to have struck his wife with a sharp object in the head were she bled profusely before dying on the road.
This publication has seen photos of the deceases but could not publish them for ethical reasons.
However the photos do not show any signs of blood on and near her body.
"Black accused his wife of prostitution after they were both drunk as it was always their norm after taking beer.
"They fought along the way, and the fighting ended disastrously since he allegedly killed his wife on the way," said the source.
The woman was found lying dead in the morning by pedestrians who filed a police report resulting in black's arrest.
