Brave MDC-T youths toy toyed at Suoguru Shops in Mvurwi, Mashonaland Central on Saturday before they gathered at Shamwari Joe open space for the Day of the African Child commemorations.
The national youth treasurer Chamunorwa Madya implored youths to be brave and vote in the looming election for them to be employed if MDC-T clinches on to power.
"It is sad to note that Mugabe's regime has failed to provide employment for the youths instead it has created a vendor society, these days there is no money whom do you sell your products to.
"We urge all youths to be brave and register to vote in 2018, if you vote for Tsvangirai jobs will be available, we are talking from experience as we witnessed when he was in government previously," he said.
Speaking on the same occasion the commander for youths Mashonaland province Tonderai Samhu denounced corruption by Mvurwi Town council and blocking youths from getting employed.
"We are not happy with Mvurwi town council which is proving to be very corrupt by depriving youths of employment.
The town is so clean as a result of the elderly who are being used for a cup of sugar, the authority is pocketing money meant for employment of the youths to their personal use."
Apparently we are saying enough is enough we are going to join hands with Residence association and demand anti-corruption to visit Mvurwi and investigate the officials.
Meanwhile, National Peoples Party {NPP} Mazowe North sent their representative who also graced the occasion and gave solidarity messages.
This year the event was celebrated under the theme," AFRICAS FUTURE, PROMOTING YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN DECISION MAKING."
