The MDC T party today held an induction workshop for its northern region candidates which appraised them on the party's campaign message ahead of the forthcoming harmonised.

It's less than 40 days to go before the harmonised election on 30 July, the opposition MDC T party saddled with financial constraints that have incapacitated it from holding major rallies has resorted to a new campaign strategy that engages on a person-to-person basis.

The party held an induction workshop for its aspiring candidates for Mashonaland which appraised them on this strategy graced by the party's presidential candidate Dr Thokozani Khupe.

MDC T national chairperson Honourable Abednego Bhebhe bemoaned the low female representation of candidates with only a minimal being fielded out of their cumulative 112 parliamentary seats candidates.

The MDC T party heads for the harmonised elections burdened by a possible split in votes, as the splinter party headed by Advocate Nelson Chamisa is also targeting to fish into the same electorate pool but this Dr Khupe said she remains unfazed.

Having been empowered with the campaign skills aspiring MDC T candidates carry, the mandate of spearheading their party's message captured under the theme, "Equal Opportunities for Everyone".
