This Constitution leader Abigail Mupambi has said the tearing and pulling down of campaign posters, which is prevailing in the country shows that intolerance continues to rein supreme in the country.
"That's silent violence, its real and indeed happening . Mostly I think its being caused by intolerance particularly along factional breakaway parties or Individuals. Intra Party disagreements that emanates from primaries across the board gave birth to serious levels of intolerance amongst players," she said.
"We witnessed the cropping of several independent candidates who still claim their Party tickets . This is happening across the board and it is contributing to massive confusion in the field which by no doubt should be leading to others defacing or pulling down each others posters. Often pending or unresolved disputes are communicated in action. Its unfortunate."
She said multi-Party liaison committees should do a lot in making such that there is harmony as we draw close to the polls.
"In a democratic set up, tolerance and acceptance of each other is Key," she said.
