The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has found itself embroiled in a legal battle at the Plumtree Magistrates' Court over a boundary dispute.
Representing NUST, Nanzelelo Ndlovu appeared before Magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
He was granted bail and the trial is set to commence on November 14.
The state alleges that in June, the complainant, Thomas Ngwenya, visited his farm, Mzipha, in the Solusi area, which shares a boundary with NUST.
Upon arrival, Ngwenya discovered that his perimeter fence had been cut by the accused, creating a passage.
Upon inspection, he observed tire marks indicating that the accused had accessed the area.
The estimated value of the damaged property is $500.
