Malema slams racist white judge

In typical Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) style, party leader Julius Malema has launched a fierce attack on the judiciary following his latest court judgment, branding the ruling "racist and biased."

Speaking to a crowd of supporters after the verdict, Malema led chants of "Viva EFF, Viva! Thatha EFF, Thatha!" before targeting his political opponents. "Down with AfriForum, down! Down with the DA, down! Down with Helen Zille, down!" he shouted to loud cheers.

Malema criticized the judge's decision to convict him while acquitting his co-accused, arguing that the outcome reflected a political agenda driven by AfriForum and what he termed "the Oval House Donald Trump agenda." He accused the judiciary of being captured and politically compromised.

The EFF leader confirmed that he is due back in court in January for sentencing but vowed to challenge the ruling without delay. He announced that prominent advocate Thembeka Ngcukaitobi will lead his legal team in an appeal to the Supreme Court of Appeal, with the matter expected to ultimately reach the Constitutional Court.

"We will fight this case until it reaches the Constitutional Court of South Africa. We are not surprised by the outcome, but we will not retreat," Malema declared defiantly.

He urged EFF members to remain "resolute and resilient," calling on them to strengthen party structures, particularly in the Buffalo City Metro Municipality, which he said the EFF must secure. Malema also invoked the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, claiming that the state has been "captured by criminals," and positioned the EFF as the only viable alternative for South Africa's future.

Reiterating the party's ideological stance, he reaffirmed the EFF's commitment to its Seven Cardinal Pillars, especially land expropriation without compensation.

In a defiant conclusion, Malema declared that "the incarceration and death of a revolutionary can never be considered a loss," before leading supporters in singing the controversial struggle song, *Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer*.

The judgment, Malema's response, and his vow to escalate the matter to the highest courts have set the stage for another high-profile political and legal showdown in 2025.
