Leader of Johanne the Fifth of Africa, Archbishop Andby Makururu says President Emmerson Mnangagwa has a diplomatic calling which has seen African leaders and top investors visiting the country.Makururu made the remarks at a time when Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema made his first State visit to Zimbabwe for the inaugural session of Zambia-Zimbabwe Bi-National Commission, which he-co-chaired with Mnangagwa last week.
Hichilema flew into Harare on Friday and returned to his country the same day.
Two days earlier, Mnangagwa had also met Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote.
Dangote signed a multi-sector investment deal worth over US$1 billion with the Zimbabwean government through Dangote Group.
Dangote, whose net worth stands at US$25 billion, flew into Zimbabwe to explore opportunities in the country's cement and energy sector.
Makururu said Mnangagwa has a diplomatic calling which is luring investors in the country.
"President Emmerson Mnangagwa has a diplomatic calling and we are seeing what is happening," he told NewsDay Live Monday Nov. 17.
"President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema was in the country the same week Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote was in the country and this shows something, that we have a visionary leader.
"They, Hichilema and Dangote, are coming here because they are seeing that President Mnangagwa has vision and that there is a peace and unity in the country."
Added Makururu: "I am happy that President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema was in the country. it was a good gesture because there has been always existing relationship between Zimbabwe and Zambia since the days of the liberation struggle.
"We are urging fellow African leaders to also come to Zimbabwe to seek advice because we have seen that our leader President Mnangagwa is a visionary leader and a strong man.
"As a church leader, I am also urging Africa to be united. It is good for us.
"Africa's richest man Dangote can bring opportunities to many Zimbabweans in the country, such as employment and bussiness opportunities."
Makururu said under the leadership of Mnangagwa, the country is going to see miracles happening.
The leader of Johanne the Fifth of Africa has been to several southern African countries meeting their heads of State and fostering unity.
On several occasions, Makururu has met Mnangagwa at State House as well as Mozambican President Daniel Chapo.
