Botswana President to open ZITF 2026

Botswana President Duma Gideon Boko is set to officially open the 66th edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), Cabinet has announced.
The official opening ceremony will take place on April 23 at the Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Smart City (ZICES) in Bulawayo.
In a statement shared on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services confirmed the development and outlined key details of this year's premier trade showcase.
"The 66th Edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair will run from 20 to 25 April, 2026, under the theme, ‘Connected Economies, Competitive Industries'," the Ministry said.
The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair is one of the region's leading trade and investment platforms, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the world.
Organisers say this year's edition is expected to play a key role in promoting regional economic integration and enhancing industrial competitiveness, as countries seek to strengthen trade linkages and unlock new investment opportunities.
