Mugabe meets FRELIMO presidential hopeful

FRELIMO presidential candidate for the October 15, 2014 Mozambican election, Filipe Jacinto Nyussi, on Monday paid a courtesy call on President Robert Mugabe.
Mr Nyussi, 55, was born in Mueda Cabo Delgado.
At a young age, he was among the children in FRELIMO camps in southern Tanzania.
Nyussi studied engineering in the Czech Republic and worked with the Mozambique Railways as a mechanical engineer, rising to be chief executive.
From 2008 to March 2014, Nyasa was the Defence Minister of Mozambique until he beat three other candidates in the FRELIMO presidential race.
Accompanying him to meet the President was FRELIMO politburo member Albetro Chipande and the Secretary General of the War Veterans of Mozambique, Ferdinand Francisco Faustin.
The delegation will leave for Botswana on Tuesday, having been to Tanzania, Angola and the United States.
