VANCOUVER/HARARE - Panic has reportedly gripped President Robert Mugabe's Office, with intelligence operatives said to be working flat out to ascertain the identities of government officials, who were told about Grace Mugabe's death prophesy, but decided to keep it away from the Zanu PF strongman's ear, The Telescope News reported.

Mugabe is understood to be breathing fire and brimstone over the issue, as he was only told about the prophesy, first reported in The Telescope News in January 2014, last month, as initially officials around him thought our story was an "alarmist hoax".

Our editor broke the story, after meeting and later making a telephone interview, with the Berlin-based man of cloth in Germany, who made the shock prophesy at the time.

This publication can today reveal that, many top officials and Zimbabwean diplomats in Europe were contacted to relay the message to the first family, but decided to keep mum about it, fearing possible reprisals or even loss of their jobs.

At least 10 government officials including 5 Zanu PF ministers, and 5 diplomats including 2 MDC-T envoys were personally contacted by the Zimbabwean church leader. Only Ambassador Hebson Makuvise, who was the country's representative in Germany during the coalition administration, had hitherto been the only one named.

The other nine are pleading the fifth for political reasons, and had long asked us to withhold their names. However we can hint that, of the 5 ministers, 4 have been fired and 1 is still serving in cabinet.

"The President is upset about not fully being briefed about Amai's (Grace Mugabe) prophesy," said the minister who survived the chop, which targeted suspected ex-vice president Joice Mujuru cabinet backers. "Mugabe is very angry and not taking this lightly, such that an unofficial witch-hunt is taking place,he has demanded answers, causing panic for all of us."

The Telescope News, has also been told by the minister that Mugabe was keen on "having a word" with the Man of God, including the first lady herself.

"These are spiritual matters, and there is a realisation that only God Himself can intervene, and Mugabe is a staunch believer."

Mugabe's spokesman, George Charamba, this week denied a report by this publication, that the first lady's appendix operation did not go well, and that she had allegedly been admitted into ICU.

"There is nothing like that. It is those reports that are in a coma," Charamba told a leading Sunday weekly in Harare.

The report in question, has also brought to light disclosures that, Grace could be suffering from septicemia, or blood poisoning.

A Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA) church elder, where the first lady has close links with founders, Ezekiel and Eunor Guti revealed on Monday, that they were praying for her speedy recovery, and that she manages to make it for her husband's special 91st birthday next week.
