Caps United legend 'Carlos Max' in court over tax

CAPS UNITED legend Carlos Max had been dragged to the court for allegedly failing to pay tax to the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority since 2009.
Max denies the charges.
According to H-Metro, Zimra official identified as Joseline Makwanya told a court that there are several business operating at Number 4 Edith Court Road Arcadia where Max stays.
"Your worship I went to Max's house and saw that there is a garage, car-wash and a food outlet business and with that I have proof that he is doing business.
"According to our records, Max is registered as a sole trader and if his business has been suspended he was supposed to have notified Zimra that his business was no longer in operation.
"It is there in our records that he has not been paying tax since 2009 up to date. I came to know of this when I was given the task to look into his case sometime in February this year" said Makwanya.
