Hwange FC and Warriors assistant coach, Nation Dube is reported to have been blocked from executing club duties over his link to the match fixing saga.
Dube was suspended together with Zifa board member for development Edzai Kasinauyo for their alleged involvement in the latest match fixing saga.
Hwange's first Castle Lager Premier League game is against Highlanders at the colliery.
Dembare Dotcoms today quoted, Zifa CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze saying : "The first step was to suspend him from the national team and the second step we are currently doing is writing a letter to his employers Hwange notifying them of the seriousness of the allegations,".
"He will have to appear before a disciplinary hearing and it is our recommendation that he should not be involved with anything to do with football before he is cleared.
"If he is employed as a plumber or a fitter and turner by Hwange then he can continue with that work but in terms of anything to do with football, he will not be allowed as it will compromise the disciplinary hearings."
Mashingaidze said he will be meeting with the Zifa Disciplinary Committee to discuss the start of the proceedings against the accused individuals.
It said Hwange chairman Joseph Zulu was not reachable for comment.
