Driving from town just now, my mother being seriously ill and on injections since Saturday and needing an injection and a doctors visit I was forced to risk and drive to town along the way the protesters started burning tires and I was forced to quickly make a uturn and drive through Mzilikazi past Mpilo.
On my way back the situation was now worse with throngs of people lining the road and the police water canon vehicle trying to warn people off.
Situation along Luveve road is becoming tense and can change anytime so please stay at home and be safe, if you driving take extreme caution.
Early in the morning a kombi was burnt on Luveve road just by D Square this shows how volatile the situation is and might be in the next hours if people get psyched up.
