The Zimbabwe Union of Journalists, ZUJ, Secretary General, Foster Dongozi who is also Federation of African Journalists (FAJ) Steering Committee member has handed over a letter of introduction from the FAJ leadership to the African Capacity Building Foundation's Communication Consultants Susan Mwiti and Tsitsi Mtetwa.
The union revealed that Dongozi was representing Federation of African Journalists, FAJ, President Abdulwaheed Odusile who is based in Nigeria but was away on other assignments in Dakar, Senegal, the FAJ headquarters.
FAJ is a Federation of Unions and Associations that represents 50 000 journalists in Africa.
It has five sub- regions in West Africa, North Africa, Central Africa, East Africa and the Southern Africa Journalists Association, SAJA. The letter will be forwarded to the ACBF Director General.
Dongozi told the ACBF officials that the FAJ as a continental body was seeking to build partnerships with different local, regional and international organisations.
"An organization as big as FAJ will naturally seek to build relationships and partnerships and that is what we are doing with many organisations."
Mwiti said: "We are very excited to receive your delegation and we are always looking at how we can build fruitful partnerships, including with the media."
