Zanu PF Secretary for Women Affairs and First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe and the Women's League national executive members have paid their condolences to bereaved families of six Zanu PF youths district executive members who died in a road accident on the 21st of September in Chipinge.

The death of the six youths, who were conferred with district liberation hero status, touched the hearts of many and the Women League's national executive members spared some time to console the bereaved families at the conclusion of the Zanu PF Manicaland provincial executive induction workshop.

The First Lady was represented by her deputy in the Women's League, Eunice Sandi Moyo, while the organ's members included Letina Undenge and Christine Meya Sibanda.

In her condolence message, Dr Mugabe implored the party leadership to respect people who elevated them to positions of authority.

She then donated financial assistance to the spouses of the deceased youths.

Zanu PF Manicaland Provincial Youth League chairman, Mbuso Chinguno commended the First Lady for her generosity and castigated some party leaders for not standing with the Youth League in their times of need.

Chipinge South legislator, Enock Porusingazi noted that the bereaved families require continous assistance with some who are still hospitalised requiring financial assistance to undergo specialised treatment in Harare.

The six Zanu PF youths who died when the side panels of a Checheche-bound lorry carrying party supporters swung open are Robert Ndhlovu, Douglas Mashava, Murambo, Tawengwa Zimhira, Phineas Kazende and James Hletshwa
