Zanu-PF South Africa has a new executive

The ZANU PF Deputy National Political Commissar, Cde. O. Hungwe M.P.; on Saturday 21st November took time from her busy schedule to address the ZANU PF SA inter-district meeting held in Johannesburg Central. The meeting which was also attended by Cde. M. Machacha, a director in the Commissariat Department, Cde. V. Banhire, officer responsible for the external organs in the Commissariat and Cde. Tembani of the African National Congress, saw the appointment of an interim executive to run the affairs of ZANU PF SA District.
The interim executive will be chaired by Cde. Kennedy Mapesa Mandaza, who in the last executive was the Secretary for Information and Publicity. Cde. T. T. G. Jubane and Cde. G. Kangausaru, who have been the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson of the previous executive were appointed the Vice Chairperson and Secretary for Administration respectively. Cdes. G. Nhikitiki, (Commissar); A. Ruzani (Finance) and A. Nyoni (Security) complete the list of the top six whose mandate is to mobilise Zimbabweans in South Africa to continue to work and participate in ZANU PF programmes.
In her address Cde. Hungwe encouraged members to intensify the mobilization of Zimbabweans in South Africa, particularly in Gauteng where it is estimated that there are 500 000 potential ZANU PF members. She highlighted that the executive should take advantage of the social network platforms to lure people back into the party. She emphasised the need for ZANU PF members to shun to divisive tendencies such as tribalism and disunity, and work as a collective to grow ZANU PF in South Africa.
The meeting which attracted members from Witbank also deliberated on the resolutions that will be taken to the December National Conference to be held in Victoria Falls. Its now time to hit the ground running in South Africa.
