Be wary of false prophets

There is no need for a prophet given the current state of the nation's economy, politics, and society.
As a nation, we have had enough prophecies in the past; now, we just need to position everyone to act morally in order to advance the nation.
The most insane thing on earth is to read the political climate of the nation and then organize a press conference-style event to package a message as a prophecy for the country.
Mudzanire is merely an opportunist who preys on the credulous.
It is extremely embarrassing that Uebert Angles is referring to the political, social, and economic issues that everyone is debating as prophecies.
Surprisingly, these charlatans remain silent and join the bootlicking squad in defending the corrupt rule in the name of God when elections are blatantly rigged.
His god remains silent when the ruling party engages in corrupt practices and when individuals are murdered or kidnapped. Only when the opposition poses a threat to Zanu PF's position does his god speak.
Rather than living off of prophecies, developing countries work hard to achieve their goals. We cannot be a nation that waits for dubious signals masquerading as prophecies.
Even the word of God warns us in the book of Jeremiah where it says "This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.’"
At one time Zimbabwe had two prophets who claimed to have powers to make miracle miracle money.
Gideon Gono, the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) became notably involved in the controversial "miracle money" phenomenon around 2012–2013.
This referred to claims by popular Zimbabwean prophets/preachers Emmanuel Makandiwa and Uebert Angel (now Zimbabwe's Ambassador at Large), who asserted they could miraculously generate money that appeared in people's pockets, bank accounts, or even vaults through divine intervention.
Gono's stance initially issued a public warning against the practice. He cautioned the public about Uebert Angel's claims, stating that unexplained money appearing in accounts could violate international laws. He urged the prophets to stop, emphasizing that such activities could invite international scrutiny and were not possible without traceable sources.
We had also the Chinhoyi diesel scam (often called "Dhiziri pa Chinhoyi") is one of the most infamous and embarrassing fraud cases in Zimbabwean history. It happened in 2007 during a severe national fuel shortage under former President Robert Mugabe's government
A traditional healer and spirit medium named Rotina Mavhunga aka Nomatter Tagarira convinced senior government officials, including cabinet ministers, that refined diesel was miraculously oozing from rocks at Maningwa Hills near Chinhoyi. She claimed it was a gift from ancestral spirits to help the nation during the fuel crisis.
She was arrested, charged with fraud and convicted. The incident became a national laughing stock.
Many people in the nation live in extreme poverty, but none of these prophets are able to help them. People must become wiser and break free from these false prophets.
This kind of nonsense only occurs in Africa, where con artists attempt to manipulate the minds of the majority in order to maintain their position of power indefinitely. We ought to free ourselves from mental enslavement.
