Chinomona needs counselling

Dear Editor,
So a question is asked in Parliament in Shona and the Deputy Speaker sees no problem. She makes no objection. When a response is made in Ndebele she interrupts and demands that the answer be in English for everyone to benefit? So sad.
Is this is a national institution where laws are made which has now become the posterbuilding for tribalism? What lessons are children being taught? That in Zimbabwe Shona is national language? Shameful.
The Parliament must allow the use of all languages and provide for translation which is something not difficult. This country forever backwards. She must ban Ndebele in her house and not the House of Parliament.
This is not the first time he chairing has led to tribal discord. She hates Ndebele so much she cannot help herself. Umona phansi Chinomona!
Regards,
N. Sibanda
