A cross section of Warriors fans have said limited technical awareness proved costly for the team as they were held to a two all draw by Algeria.
Warriors defended too deep in the second half paving room for mistakes which Algeria capitalized on ,fans said.
The national team was on track to register a memorable win but allowed Algeria to equalize with 12 minutes left of play.
"It's unfortunate that they failed to win. I think the coach's second half tactic of defending deep caused problems for us towards the end of the game" said Vusa Sibanda.
Others said coach Kalisto Pasuwa's messed up in leaving on form Orlando Pirates gunman Tendai Ndoro on the bench.
"I think Ndoro should have come on ahead of Cuthbert Malajila.
" Ndoro has been playing regularly at Orlando Pirates and as it is his confidence is high because he has also been scoring frequently, something that Malajila has failed to do at Bidvest Wits" added Brian Masiye is quoted saying.
Batsirai Shoko said the Warriors defended too deep and by so doing increased chances of making errors.
"This is a match that we should have won with ease had we buried the chances we created" said Shoko.
The Warriors were nine minutes away from victory when they were caught on the break as the Desert Foxes rallied from behind to snatch a draw via the effort of their double scorer Riyad Mahrez.
