Bosso kicks out two senior players

HIGHLANDERS coach Bongani Mafu revealed on Thursday that two senior players Simba Sithole and Julius Daudi have since parted ways with the Bulawayo giants.
Sithole and Daudi have played cameo roles for Bosso, playing less than a game each in the past 14 games of the 2015 season.
"Simba's (Sithole) contract has expired. We will release him. There is a player that has also played less than 66 minutes (Julius Daudi) that we will release. I will not mention him, you will name him," said Mafu.
Daudi, a former Chicken Inn and Railstars player, did not last 90 minutes when he made his debut appearance for Bosso against Chicken Inn. He was playing as a left link midfielder and struggled to stamp his authority hence his substitution.
Against a background some media reports that dreadlocked Felix Chindungwe and Welcome "Waroowa" Ndiweni were on their way out, Mafu said: "Those are my players. If they do not play well, I will bench them. They just need to pull their socks. I liked the way Felix played when we faced CS Distributors in our practice match on Wednesday.
He is likely to start in our game against Triangle . . .We do need senior players like Felix."
The gaffer said he has since told a Cameroon trialist top stop training, as he does to fit in their system. As if this was not enough, Mafu did not have any good news for the Ugandan duo which was reportedly stuck in Zambia as they do not have proper travelling documents.
"He (Cameroon) does not suit the bill. He trained twice and I have released him. The Ugandan players called me telling me that they were stuck in Zambia because their documentation is not in order. I told them to go back and I did not see them," said Mafu.
He had so much praise for young Obert "Adebayor" Tafira saying the new arrival will be registered soon following the opening of the mid-season transfer window on Wednesday.
"He was unfortunately kicked at training. He has a swollen ankle. He will have to wait for his turn but he will be registered with the PSL soon," said the ex-Zimbabwe Saints coach in the process confirming that he was keen on signing Bulawayo Chiefs duo Ishmael Wadi and Peter Muduhwa.
The clubs goalkeeping department seems to be worrying the coach and he has called goalkeepers to come for trials.
"I have called goalkeepers for trials. I have told Ariel (Sibanda) and others that I'm tired of their goalkeeping errors that have cost us," he said.
Sibanda is Bosso's first choice goal minder. He competes for the first team jersey with veteran Njabulo "Popo" Nyoni and young Takunda Mutanga who has been in the treatment room.
