Mrs. Angeline Vere the new Chief Executive Officer of Telecel Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd
The Telecel Zimbabwe Board of Directors has appointed of Mrs. Angeline Vere as the Chief Executive Officer of Telecel Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, with effect from June 10, 2015.

Telecel's Board Chairman, Dr. James C. Makamba, said the appointment of Angeline Vere is in line with the Company's equal employment opportunity and empowerment policies. Prior to this recent appointment, in 2013, Mrs Vere was appointed the General Manager. Mrs Angeline Vere joined the organisation in July 2004, as Legal Manager and in 2010 she was promoted to the position of Company Secretary and Legal Director.

Mrs. Vere has more than 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Telecel Zimbabwe, Mrs. Vere worked at the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe, the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, (now TelOne) and the Attorney General's Office, among other Zimbabwean Companies.

Angeline Vere is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree (LLB), a Masters in Laws (LLM) degree with specialization in Commercial law and a Diploma in Finance and Accounting.

The Board wishes her well as the organisation gears itself to tackle exciting opportunities that are designed to unlock its true potential.
