The South African songstress Zahara gave an outstanding performance on Friday night at the Borrowdale Racecourse in Harare. This is the second time that Zahara real name Bulelwa Mkutukana has performed in the country.
With her 10-member live band Zahara came on stage around 11pm and performed her songs, Loliwe and M and My Guitar.
The crowd estimated at about 3500 thronged the racecourse despite the chilly weather and were treated to a world class show. Zahara also showcased her guitar skills as she played her song "My Guitar" to an overwhelmed crowed that joined in and sang along.
Zahara also did a tribute to Miriam Makeba and then did two favourite Brenda Fassie songs â€" Promise and Vulindlela.
The songstress also performed "Ncwad' Encane" and was joined by Alexio Kawara who sang the Shona part, performed by South African-based Zimbabwean DJ, George Munetsi, in the original track.
Our own "Ndipei Sando Dzangu" hit maker - Wallace "Winky D" Chirumiko or Ninja President as some might want to call him also mesmerised fans with his sing along tunes.
The Big Man with sidekick young brother - Layan "Musoja" was welcomed on stage with a thunderous applause and performed for almost over an hour. He left fans crying for more. Earlier, the opening acts did not disappoint as well and gave it their best shot. Badboy - Roki and his dancers were on fire with their energetic and raunchy dances.
Another fast rising star Alexio dazzled fans with his songs like "Shaina".The show was organised by Hardcore World Entertainment and is the second time Zahara has performed in the country.
