Minister Owen Ncube Hands Over Agricultural Machinery to Gweru Youth

Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Affairs Owen Ncube has handed over agricultural machinery and equipment to eight young farmers in Gweru, in a bid to promote self-sustainable farming initiatives.

The handover was revealed by C.M. Mukungunugwa via his official X (formerly Twitter) account.


"The Minister Owen Ncube handed over agricultural machinery and equipment under the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme at the Government Complex in Gweru, empowering eight young farmers from across the Midlands Province with tractors, ploughs, boom sprays, planters, disc harrows, and a trailer to boost production and support Vision 2030," the post read.

The initiative is part of broader efforts to equip youth with tools to contribute meaningfully to Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector and national development goals.
