A Brazilian woman who has given birth to a healthy baby weighing 9.9lbs with two heads
Pregnant mum Maria de Nazare was amazed when scans done as she went into labour showed the baby she was expecting was actually conjoined twins sharing the same body.
Doctors opted for a Caesarean section birth and amazingly the baby came out alive and healthy. Scans show they share the majority of their organs, including the heart.
The babies, named Jesus and Emanuel, have been deemed healthy and stable, and the 23-year-old mother breastfed both of them.
The birth took place in Anajas, on an island in the northern state of Para.
