Heavy down pour in Nkayi

Heavy rains have been recorded in Nkayi district in Matabeleland North, however no incidents of flooding have been reported.

The Matabeleland Institute for Human Rights  posted pictures very wet land in the district as a sign that there was heavy down pour.

"Heavy rains pound Nkayi, Bubi, Lupane, Tsholotsho, Nyamandlovu and human rights to be threatened by floods. Most affected rights include Education, Health and Housing," the organisation reported.
