After B-Metro made it public that Folklore musician Sikhosana Buhlungu is living in poverty, well-wishers and fans have embarked on a drive of donating building material to improve Sikhosana's homestead.
Last week B-Metro Showbiz reported that Sikhosana who is famous for his latest smash hit Ntethe, was living in dire conditions.
The kind hearted have pledged to help Sikhosana have a respectable home.
Two round huts are the only structures at the 49-year-old singer's homestead.
Before the rainy season starts, Madlela Skhobokhobo, who manages Sikhosana, said their refurbishments would be done.
"We are honoured by the love that Sikhosana has been receiving from all over the world. His situation, especially the structures of his homestead, were not appealing for someone famous like him. Well-wishers and fans have come together for a great cause to help Sikhosana and we would like to thank everyone who has given something to him.
We are still welcoming other blessings," said Madlela.
Among those who pledged is businessman Nodumo Nyathi, who said Sikhosana is blessed to have achieved his dreams at his age.
"This man is blessed. Some die with their talents. Actually, many even left singing due to not being supported. At his age he never gave up. I learnt a lot from his push.
"His father spoke that ufisa ukubona (he wants to see) the benefits of his popularity. As Nots and Sons Holdings, we are saying inkomo (cow) ensikazi (ithokazi) on its way to Nkayi," said Nyathi.
