Cellphone dealer sued over maintenance

A Marondera has taken her ex husband to court accusing him of neglecting their minor child. Blessinmg Makuta hauled her ex-husband Moses Chekumanyara to court seeking $80 maintenance for their six year old child.
"I am a cross border trader and I realise about $320 monthly. I am remarried and my husband is employed at Agritex and earns $608 per month. I have two other kids with my current husband and I live in Marondera with all of them. I need $40 for school fees, $20 for transport and $20 for medical expenses," she said.
In response Moses offered $30 saying he was not gainfully employed. He said he realises $170 to $180 per month and has other three children.
Magistrate Yeukai Dzuda ordered Moses to pay $30 a month.
