Mugabe to celebrate his 93rd birthday in Mat South

Matabeleland South province will this year host the 21st February Movement with the Matopo National Park named as the venue for this year's celebrations.
The 21st February Movement is in honour of President Robert Mugabe and has a vision to mould Zimbabwean youths to emulate his visionary leadership and nationalist values.
Preparations for this year celebrations have started in earnest following the first meeting that was held in Gwanda.
Addressing the joint Zanu PF provincial coordinating committee meeting and the provincial development committee meeting, Umzingwane National Assembly member William Dewa, who stood in for the party provincial chairman Rabelang Choeni revealed the province has been given the task to host the 21st February Movement and intends to deliver a historic event.
He said Matopo district is the venue for the event and all sub-committees have since been activated to ensure that logistics are attended to.
Dewa said the exact venue at Matopo National Park is yet to be identified.
He further stated that Matabeleland South province will also host the Zanu PF National People's Conference in December this year.
The committees set up include those of co-ordination, documentation, finance and fundraising, organisation, security and accreditation, information and publicity, transport and welfare, health environment and tourism, ushering and culture and entertainment education and culture.
