Kapfupi cheats death

COMEDIAN cum musician, Freddy "Kapfupi" Manjalima had a close shave with death on Monday night after being involved in an accident.

The accident occurred in Epworth at Domboramwari council offices when a Nissan Sylphy he was travelling in rammed into another vehicle as he tried to avoid on-coming traffic.

Kapfupi, who was behind the wheels, was in the company of his friend Charles Mugove, drummer Kudzi and dancer Tafadzwa.

Speaking shortly after his discharge from Parirenyatwa Hospital, Kapfupi confirmed the unfortunate incident.

"I am responding to treatment at home and I want to thank God for the near escape.

"I only suffered minor pains on my chest but the doctors were quick to deal with it.

"My heart pours out for Charles who is still in the hospital, he got knocks on his head and shoulders. We just hope he will be fine soon," he said.
