Wife threatens to cut hubby's manhood

A Glen View man has approached the courts to protect his manhood.
Edwin Gapu opened up at the Harare Civil Court seeking for a protection order against his wife Maria Mazambani who he said was threatening to cut his manhood because she suspects him of having extra-marital affairs.
"Your worship I am living in fear of my wife because of her abusive behaviour.
"She beats me up in front of children and even threatens to kill me each time she suspects that I have a girlfriend.
"I have never cheated on her and I love her but her behaviour is now disturbing my peace," he said.
"She even tells me what time to get home after work and if I come home late she beats me up.
"On two occasions our neighbours protected me when she wanted to stab me with a knife.
"She is now saying she will cut off my manhood if she sees me with a woman," said Gapu.
In response Mazambani said:
"This man your worship is promiscuous; he brings his girlfriends to my house.
"He brings prostitutes and sleeps with them in my house.
"I am trying to defend myself and my children; they can have sex in the sitting room trying to fix me but what will my kids learn," she said.
"I also want to be protected because his behaviour affects me emotionally.
"I promised to cut it off because it's the one that's influencing him to behave like a child and I am going ahead with the plan.
"He doesn't provide for his children all he thinks about is sex," said Mazambani.
Magistrate Lazini Ncube granted the protection order in Gapu's favour.
