Bosso to boost strike-force

AFTER seeing his charges slide to mid-table towards the end of the first half of the season, Highlanders coach Madinda Ndlovu says the only missing link is a lethal strike-force.
Madinda won the hearts of the Bosso fans after introducing a new playing philosophy and bringing in a number of young players. But, after a very promising start, the club has been struggling of late.
They are 15 points off the pace set by leaders FC Platinum. Ndlovu has refused to castigate his players but has instead pointed to a blunt strike-force as his team's biggest let down. His trusted centre forward Newman Sianchali has scored a paltry four goals while Ozias Zibande, who mostly features as a substitute, as well as Gabriel Nyoni, have contributed three strikes apiece.
"I am very happy with how my players have fared so far this season,'' said Madinda.
"I have an impressive young team which has proven to be a force in the league, winning some crucial matches and are well in the mix to have a shout on the destiny of the title.
"And, what we all have to know is Highlanders is a team which is rebuilding and I am not demanding too much from the players right now.
"We should play good football and so far we have done justice to that. I have some of the best players in the Premiership by performance so far this season.
"My only worry is in the strike-force. I am definitely going to add two or three players in that department in the transfer window.
"My team has punched well above their weight and even the strikers are doing well and with more exposure they will come to the party even more.
