Thousands of people are flocking to Egodini contact centre in Bulawayo to register for employment at the multi-million dollar construction site.
General hands, bricklayers and builders woke up early morning to queue for the first phase of the registration exercise.
However, no one had been attended to by 10am.
Bulawayo residents expressed mixed feelings over the recruitment process as they alleged that some councillors had already started recruiting people over the weekend at their houses.
Terracotta Private Investment representative, Thulani Ncube said he is overwhelmed by the way Bulawayo people responded to the call for employment registration by his company last Friday.
Ncube added that a total of 300 people will be registered a day at the contact centre.
Egodini contact centre was commissioned on Friday by the Mayor of Bulawayo, Solomon Mguni.
