The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, led by Hak Ja Moon has called for an urgent press conference to clarify on reports that their leader is coming to Zimbabwe to deepen the roots of her movement which has been wide condemned as a cult in many countries.
The press briefing which will be led by local leadership was supposed to be held at Cresta Oasis in Harare but has been moved to Meikles hotel.
In a press invitation circulated yesterday, the movement said:
The Family Federation for World Peace and Unification will tomorrow 14 November at Cresta Oasis 11 am in the Mukute 2 room. Journalists will be offered incentives.
The presser is on the Family Festival for peace to be held at the National Sports stadium on the 21st of November 2018. Dr Hak Ja Han Moon from Korea will be the guest of honour at this event.
Hak is the second wife of Sun Myung Moon the late Founder of the Unification Movement.
The Unification movement believes that God s original intent was for Jesus to form a perfect marriage in order to redeem humanity and undo the harm perpetrated by Adam and Eve.
Because Jesus (the second Adam) was executed before accomplishing his mission, a third Adam was needed to form this perfect marriage and complete Jesus' task. This third Adam would be recognized as the second coming of Christ. As the perfect man, he would marry the perfect woman and become the true spiritual parents of humankind.
Members of the Unification Church regard Moon and his second wife, Hak Ja Moon, as these True Parents. Married couples and their families within the movement are regarded as the True Children and linked to God through the True Parents.
