Tonderai Ndiraya is reportedly preparing to leave his current position at Simba Bhora and join PSL newcomers Scottland. This comes just months after Ndiraya led Simba Bhora to its first-ever league title, marking a historic achievement in his coaching career.

Ndiraya's contract with Simba Bhora is set to expire on December 31, 2024, and sources close to the situation have confirmed that the coach has opted not to extend his stay with the club. Instead, he is expected to take the reins at Scottland, which has made significant moves in the transfer market as it gears up for its debut season in the PSL.

A source, speaking to Soccer24, revealed: "We have just been told as an executive that the coach (Ndiraya) will not extend his stay with us as he will join Scottland. Once the coach returns from Turkey, we will make everything official and release a press statement."

Scottland, owned by businessman Pedzai "Scott" Sakupwanya, were officially crowned Northern Region Soccer League champions this week after the ZIFA appeals committee upheld the league's disciplinary decision, dismissing an appeal by Karoi United over the controversial abandonment of their match in September.

With promotion to the PSL confirmed, Scottland is reportedly making big moves in preparation for the new season. The club has already secured five key players from Simba Bhora, including captain Walter Musona, goalkeeper Talbert Shumba, midfielders Mthokozisi Msebe, Vassili Kawe, and Tichaona Chipunza. These players are set to join the Mabvuku-based side as Scottland looks to bolster its squad ahead of what is expected to be a challenging debut season in the country's top flight.

Ndiraya's potential move to Scottland marks a new chapter in his coaching career. He has enjoyed considerable success in the PSL, having previously managed Dynamos and led Simba Bhora to the 2024 league title. His decision to join Scottland, a club making its first appearance in the PSL, will certainly raise expectations for both the coach and the newly promoted side.

Scottland's ambitious approach to player recruitment, along with the potential arrival of Ndiraya, signals the club's intent to make a strong impact in the PSL and challenge established teams for top honors.
