Armed robbers pounce on bottle store

Three armed robbers allegedly pounced on a bottle store in Bulawayo and robbed $700 together with patrons' mobile phones.
Two suspects have been arrested so far while the other is at large.
Hopewell Ndlovu (32) and Emmanuel Mayibongwe Masuku (29) were dragged to Bulawayo Regional Court yesterday where they appeared before magistrate Shingirai Mutiro.
Mutiro remanded the duo in custody to 24 February.
The state led by Dominic Moyo alleged on February 2 the trio pounced on a bottle store in Bulawayo armed with pistols and threatened to shoot the workers before ransacking the bottle store and got away with $700.
The suspects further took 5 mobile phones belonging to patrons which were on chargers.
The trio also robbed Econet and Netone scratch cards valued at $200.
