A Harare woman told the court on Monday that her unemployed son had turned her house into a brothel because he was in the habit of bringing several girlfriends each time he had money.
Juliet Chihota said this at the Harare Civil Court where she was seeking a protection order against her son Admire Chihota.
Juliet further told the court that Admire had the habit of waking up at 12pm everyday. Upon being questioned if he was not willing to look for employment, Admire said he was willing to be employed but was at loggerheads with his mother each time he tried to counsel his stepsisters.
"I counseled my stepsister after she told me that my father died a poor man because the house belongs to my mother," he said. "I never harassed my stepsisters, but she is against me counseling them."
Admire said he was arrested after he asked back some money he gave her mother for safekeeping.
He further told the court that he was in good books with his mother.
Magistrate Ms Rebecca Kavhiya ruled in Juliet's favour and ordered Admire to vacate her house within 14 days.
