Mphoko unfit for national healing

Former minister Moses Mzila-Ndlovu says VP Phelekezela Mphoko is unfit to lead the country's national healing process because of his Gukurahundi-era culpability.
This comes after Mphoko told Parly last week that he would table a law in Parliament to promote national healing.
Mzila-Ndlovu said that there is no way a member of a party that was responsible for the atrocities would want to see justice.
MDC Matabeleland South chairperson Pilate Ndebele said Mphoko's recent statements seeking to absolve President Robert Mugabe of the 1980s atrocities in Matabeleland and the Midlands were provocative.
Mphoko, who was elevated to the vice-presidency last December to represent the Zapu component in Zanu PF, said Gukurahundi was a Western conspiracy.
