Mugabe confirms Zanu-PF in chaos

President Robert Mugabe has confirmed that infighting has disembowelled Zanu-PF and that VPs Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko are locked in a succession struggle.

He said he had received reports to the effect that the party was polarising around Mnangagwa and Mphoko.

He also admitted that Zanu-PF bigwigs were abusing their party positions and engaging in gross corruption.

Mugabe said people pushing for either one of the country's two Vice Presidents to become Zimbabwe's next leader are creating another Gamatox phenomenon and must cease such divisive activities.

He said that the party organs were polarizing around Mnangagwa and Mphoko. She also pleaded with the police to maintain a tough stance on child molesters.
